Join Studio 34 for an evening of short and sweet acts by a mixed six pack of West Philly performance artists working in a wide array of mediums. Host Morgan Andrews guides attendees through the studio’s various chambers to witness each Random Act.. For our winter edition, visual artist Maisie O’Brien performs a narrative piece of shadow crankie theatre, poet Warren C. Longmire delivers an erased history of bebop in verse, moving image, and jazz tape loops, The Fluxus Brothers dabble in historical avant-garde scores, and Random Acts’ co-curator Asimina Chremos merges live dance and onscreen effects. Rounding out our sixpack of performances on one truly random act drawn from a hat to be executed by a willing audience member…maybe you?

Come early to see Studio 34’s current Fun-A-Day exhibit. Admission to Random Acts is sliding scale, no one turned away!
