Welcome to this special edition of our 7 Chakra Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Bath series “Soulful Saturday Sound Bath” here at Studio 34. These will be full 60 minute immersive sound baths (in Savasana pose) where we will let the vibrations of these special Crystal bowls slowly heal, restore and awaken us to our deepest, all-knowing, and all-welcoming selves. Through meditation, visualizations, breathing and these harmonic sounds we will push away the distractions and anxiety of everyday life and we will embrace the present so that we can find a state of quiet inner peace.

This Singing Bowl Meditation is designed to clear and balance every part of your body, mind, and spirit. Attendees will begin with a guided meditation that helps you let go and become fully aware of the present moment. As the sound healer, Eunmi, begins to play, the Singing Bowls’ vibrations find what is “out of tune” within you and help to rebalance it through a gentle “Sound Massage” that will leave you rested and renewed. The purpose of this special session is to create a safe and peaceful place to relax, recharge, rejuvenate, and connect to the healing sounds of the 7 Chakras.

This special session is for anyone who is looking to create balance in their life through the embrace of the vibrational frequencies found within and all around.

What is a Singing Bowl meditation?

A Singing Bowl meditation is a unique type of sound practice that involves using therapeutic sounds and vibrations to bring about healing. Sound healing therapy uses aspects of music to improve physical and emotional health and well-being. According to some researchers, the vibrations of a singing bowl can produce beneficial changes in the body by reducing stress, “harmonizing” the cells, and “balancing the body’s energy system.” Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves. Singing bowls are used in some Buddhist religious practices to accompany periods of meditation and Sound Therapy. This method of sound healing is ancient and sacred in Tibet, where it was first used around the 12th century for meditation and rituals.

What are 7 Chakra Crystal Bowls?

Crystal bowls, also called quartz singing bowls, are musical instruments made of pure quartz crystal. Each bowl is carefully tuned to a specific musical note, such as C, D, E, F, G, A, B, which corresponds to different energy centers in the body called chakras. The idea behind crystal singing bowls is that their vibrations can resonate with these chakras, helping to restore balance and promote well-being.
They are thought to transmit energy to the aura and influence brain wave activity, leading to a more harmonious state of consciousness.

What can sound heal?

Using sound as therapy can provide results for a variety of issues including: Sleep disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Stress management, PTSD, pain management, releasing the stagnant energy, ect.

What can you expect?

Most people will feel very relaxed and peaceful during a sound healing. Afterwards they may also find they carry significantly less tension, anger, fatigue, depression, and anxiety while increasing a sense of spiritual well-being.

How does it work?

Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).
