Join Naima and Nicole for a workshop and yoga practice where we will explore why rest is essential for our resilience. Together we will learn about the three parts of our nervous system, and how rest practices can help to regulate them. We’ll unpack beliefs around rest being associated with laziness, and identify practical ways to incorporate rest into our daily lives. Finally, a guided active-to-passive yoga practice will help you access a state of deep rest. Come begin this process of healing in community, and take away tangible tools that can help increase your ability to be resilient through these challenging times.
