The magic of Owl and Rayla fuses yoga and dance within a safe community for POC to establish a feeling of radical embodiment. This workshop incorporates cooling and strengthening methods, challenging the mind and increasing spiritual awareness. It is with establishing a balance that we are able to create the magic of regeneration. Owl and Rayla create a permissive environment in which participants are encouraged to take what they need during practice whether it is communion or restoration. Dually they affirm carving space for contentment and joy. The workshop will consist of sensual dance improv, a juicy vinyasa sequence, and guided meditations.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of why collective regeneration was so important to our ancestors. They will celebrate life and share skills for the nourishment of the soul. They will also bring to light unified intentions in the safety of the community.
Rayla Meshawn focuses on self-care and embodied movement to shift the way one feels about themselves. She is a barre fitness instructor, photographer, choreographer, and Yoga 200 RYS. Movement and meditation are among the most powerful tools she has honed. Through her practice, she seeks to promote self-inquiry and developing an integrated personal philosophy.
Owl Rare is a certified yoga instructor, herbalist, DJ, and much more. Their main calling is to bring awareness and mindfulness to all, but especially to LGBTQ+ communities.
