Magic at the Margins is a collection of collages and mixed media pieces by Black and Indigenous, queer, Philly artist, Kimberly Marie Ashby. Using an Afro-futurist lens, Ashby crafts images of Black and Brown people demonstrating their magic through surviving and sometimes thriving in spite of the oppression inherent in life at the margins.
