If you’re thinking about bringing yoga into your life, then the Fundamentals of Integral Hatha Yoga is a great place to start! Beginners will learn the foundations of a safe and powerful yoga practice for body, mind and spirit.

The WHY and HOW will be taught in each session:
– Learn the safe way to approach yoga poses (asana)
– Develop your inner awareness through deep relaxation (yoga nidra)
– Begin the practice of breath awareness for calm and focus (pranayama)
– Strengthen the mind through meditation (dhyanna)

This workshop will help you establish a home practice and give you the fundamentals to go deeper in your yoga practice. Each week builds on the prior class increasing flexibility, balance and stamina. Also, some tips for eating to support body, mind and spirit will be offered.

Studies have proven that a regular practice of yoga decreases stress and cholesterol levels, builds stamina and immunity, increases joy and a sense of well being!

Yoga instructor and therapist for 10 & 3 years respectively. I’ve led workshops in differing aspects of yoga from asana, nidra, pranayama and meditation. Certified in Integral Hatha Levels Beg., Int., Adv, Gentle & Therapeutic yoga, E-RYT500 level at Yoga Alliance. My aging body gives me new information to help older people who are beginning yoga.
