Let’s draw while keeping a connection to our bodies. This class will blend mindful meditation with the practice of drawing. We will play with different centering and awareness techniques to create drawings by trusting our inner wisdom. If you are looking for techniques to be gentler and kinder to yourself, come on out and give yourself this gift of mindful creativity.

We will provide paper and pens. Feel free to bring your own paper/sketchbook and drawing utensils (Ideas: pen, pencil, colored pencils).

Bio:
Megan Larson is a mindful explorer, educator, and artist. She has taught art, literacy, and yoga both locally and abroad. Megan has had the privilege of teaching art to various age groups from pre-K to adult and has spent many weekends teaching art at Fleisher Art Memorial. She served in Peace Corps Jamaica (2016-2018) and taught art in Thailand (2013-2015). These exciting experiences made her curious about the nervous system and self-regulation. She loves learning about somatic yoga, astrology, and horticulture in her free time.
