Yoga Alliance Certification

Yoga is composed of simple, elegant, and mindful practices which have the potential to take the practitioner closer to health on a physical, mental and emotional level. We believe in the healing potential of yoga, connection and community; that we are essentially here to care for ourselves, one another, and this planet. In this training, you will learn how to lead students through a yoga practice; this is fundamental. But at the heart of this training is a quest to find and support healing – to connect, share, gain insight and inspire even more questions, as this practice is a life-long journey. The reality is that the practice and teaching of yoga happens in many places within our lives: the studio setting, our personal healing, through our professional work, and the support for our community. This training will prepare you to bring yoga into your life and the beautiful work you are already doing. Join us, a community of teachers and peers, in learning, laughing, sharing and healing together.

In gratitude,
Kari, jean-jacques, Adrienne and Studio 34

The Ana B. Hernandez Memorial Scholarship is a full scholarship for our Studio 34 Teacher Training and is in honor and celebration of our beloved Ana. Ana was a dear friend, artist, drummer, dancer, community member, amazing cook, big-hearted-generous-easy-to-laugh inspiration. As Ana neared the end of her time with us, she became one of the studio’s most important teachers. She was grace embodied.

All scholarship applications received thus far will be considered for this scholarship. If you would like to submit any additional information, you are welcome to do so.

The focus for selection of this scholarship will be self-healing and service.

Studio 34 will be offering the Ana Hernandez Scholarship – a full scholarship for our teacher training program. In addition, three partial scholarships ($700) will be available. Please prepare a one-page response to these questions:

  • Why do you want to be a yoga teacher?
  • What are your goals, plans, dreams, visions for yourself as a yoga teacher?
  • Please briefly describe your financial need.

Email your one page response to Kari Thompson or Adrienne Dolberry by April 15, 2018.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 1, 2018.
