Studio 34 presents this homecoming soirée for a few of our favorite artists who have performed here over the years.
jm (fka joshua marcus) used to live in West Philly and is coming back to sing with some old friends with heart warmth and smiles through folk song.
My Gay Banjo is Owen Taylor and Julia Steele Allen, singing homespun gay-themed duets and occasional queered-up mash-ups. Philly-based, raising kids and working for justice, My Gay Banjo plays songs for you and your kind.
Visual artist Erik Ruin of Justseeds and folk musician Elizabeth LaPrelle perform a series of screen-printed, painted and cut paper crankies with live musical accompaniment.
Doors open at 7:00pm, music starts thereafter. Come early to hang out, have tea, and see the Fun-A-Day 2024 art show in Studio 34’s gallery.
