A performing arts event for female artists in recovery from an eating disorder, friends and family affected by the disorder, and anyone who has something to say about body image. Singers, poets, visual artists, dancers/performers, come show your talents. Meet and mingle to create a larger support network. Tea and light refreshments will be provided; bring your favorite mug. 6th annual Bike Part Art Show
Benefit for Neighborhood Bike Works
Friday, September 12, 6 to 9 p.m.Unique bicycle-themed artworks will be part of a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the youth programs at Neighborhood Bike Works. The benefit includes a raffle, live entertainment, and refreshments. Over one-hundred artworks, including sculptures, functional furniture, jewelry, paintings, prints, t-shirts, greeting cards, and photographs, are contributed by artists, cycling enthusiasts, and more. Artworks not sold during the benefit will remain on view and on sale at Studio 34 through Sunday, September 14. Benefit is sponsored by Victory Brewing Company and Laborers Local Union 57.
